J30 95 Model

Can anyone help me in explaining how to replace a Fuel Filter for a 95 J30?Just wanted to make sure I did it correctly and should I be aware of antyhing.

I appreciate it.

It sounds like you've already done it? I'll explain the best I can anyway.

It's located on the passenger side of the engine inbetween the engine and the shock tower.

1. Unscrew the clamp that hold the filter in place.2. Unscrew the two hose clamps, one on each end of the filter.3. Remove hose from both ends of filter.4. Installation is opposite of removal. Make sure filter is oriented the right way when installing.

you might want to relese the pressure in the fuel lines before you change the filter..... but the procedure is absolutely as gr8scott72 said

yes, do not forget to release the fuel pressure before that for this turn off the ignition and take out the fuel pump fuse - it is located under the hood

they start the engine and wait for it to stall.

now turn the engine off and replace the filter.

releasing the pressure is highly recommended for safety reasons
