I'm not sure if anyone else feels or receives any special J30 on J30 courtesy but ever since I got my car I seem to get it a lot from other J30 owners. Sometimes I'll be driving and I'll see another J30 beside me or on the other side of the street and they'll wave at me as if we knew each other. One good example is that I was at a 4 way stop sign intersection in a neighborhood the other day and I had pulled up just a second before this other car which was a J30t (really awkward the timing) that looked exactly like mine ('cept was a T) and once he looked up and noticed the car he smiled and signaled me to go ahead first and I did the same to him then he basically insisted again so I just smiled, waved, and went on lol. Idk, weird things like that. If I get none of those then I'll get the unusual stares from other J30 owners while they pass me by kind of like, "how odd, theres another one around..." Used to be rare for me to see Js but lately it doesn't seem so and once we notice each other it's always one of those 3 things, lol. Pretty interesting I think X]

I get that a lot. Lots of J30 love around my area. It was like that when I had my VW though as well. VW people stick together. The J30 is becoming popular? Especially in the last couple weeks, I have spotted quite a few Js in the area. It must be a summer car for some, it's been getting really warm.

My J is a MONSTER in upstate NY...

yeah that makes sense, lol. it does seem like it'd be a car driven on sunny days. as much as the paint glistens it looks nice out in the sun

Never be ashamed of DJ2, because its green in the day light and black at night or to people who can't see colors well.

I just think that J30 owners are nice in general.

It has been said that the car a person drives is a reflection of their personality.

I get that here in Alabama, too...@ least from the stock J30s. Even though I drive a Honda, the J30 drivers just wave & smile. I wave & smile back.

I think that since the J30 is a lux cruiser, people are more relaxed when driving them, especially in a well-maintained one. Thus, the nice persona.

On another note, I was going to buy a J next month, but my parents hit a snag. I'm using my J30 savings to help them out. They say they'll pay me back. My uncle keeps saying he knows where I can get a low price J, but after the first 2 junkies he showed me (1 J30, the other a beat-up Mustang), I don't trust him anymore. LOSER

Keep your eyes peeled, they are getting cheaper by the day.

Here's my 1997 J30 value at 114,000 miles & excellent condition for my zip code & multi CD MP3:

Hey that's less that than the maintenance I just spent in the last 6 months.
