it will give you much better traction off the line especially if you get some slicks, or drag radials to make your car hook up. i would reccomend contacting neo tech in santee, ca. they will sell you the differential and the axles as a package deal. you can find them on ebay sometimes. if you do the j-30 with the axles, the axles are a little too long and are hard to install. there are only a couple years that will fit your car. the differential from a 300zx, non-turbo, from 90-96 is the right gear ratio and will work with the j-30 axles, again, they are a little too long and are hard to install. the diff that neo-tech sells are from japan silvias and skylines, the axles are just right. last time i checked, they do not sell axles by themselves.
