THIS CAR IS MY GOD. I bow to it. I pray to it. I have warned my friends I may sacrifice their firstborn to it. I have forsaken the Lord Leto in its name.

556hp, 551 ft-lb, 6MT, RWD, wagon. ALL your soul are belong to it.

And for those looking for 60% fewer doors:

Somehow I don't miss the XLR anymore.

BUT If I'm going for a 2-door I'd rather have one of these:

In that color.

Contrast anyone? (DAMN the divideybelt)

I also got to check out the brand new Audi A8L. Beautiful and MASSIVE. Two 6'4'' adults fit tandem with seats adjusted liberally. No pics of it because it was swarming with people.

There was a Hyundai Equus there, too. Some old couple was checking it out and the wife asked her husband "Why is this so expensive?!" Stupidity makes Baby CTS-V Wagon cry.
The Equus is really nice looking in person. Much more subtle than Lexus, it manages to do a lot with a little. The haunch in the body line at the rear looks far nicer in person than in photos. I also got no pics of the Equus because it was swarming with people.

I tried hard not to vomit on the new "Chrysler 200" which is Fiat's hopeful effort to make people forget the Sebring is a POS.

And there was an Audi R8 V10 Convertible, which is really not that great looking with most of its curves amputated.

I actually prefer the Equus in photos to seeing it in person. The thing that struck me was the hideous Korean-inspired grille. If you've ever seen the goods in a southeast asian street market, you come across things that from 10 feet away look like they might be as good as anything from Sony or Panasonic, but you take a closer look and see ugly fonts, chintzy buttons, and knobs that do absolutely nothing. That's not to say the Equus is cheap inside or out, because its pretty damn nice, but the styling makes me think of Asian knockoffs done poorly. You always feel like you got a copy.

The CTS-V wagon is the final word in automotive goodness. Utility, comfort, style, and almost 560hp. The tail lights are stunning!

The V coupe looks so weird. It's got a ghetto badonkadonk.

Ah the infamous Subaru 360. :dblthumb: Hard to believe the people that make the STi also built the 360. I remember when they first introduced the 360 in the US (I use the term car loosely). I saw it at the NYC International Auto Show and my dad took a picture of me leaning against one. My leg brushed against one of the headlight housings and it fell onto the floor. :chuckle: Lotsa crowd chuckles. I got to drive one a few years later. Funny, flimsy little thing.

The CTS Coupe's trunk is so high, it looks really weird in person.

The wagon is win though.

Oh, I also sat in the back of a 2011 Maxima. There is NO headroom at all. My head hits the ceiling. That's not a problem in my dad's 2004 Max. Not a problem in my old third gen. Why is it a problem now? The irony is there's plenty of LEG room back there (on par with the 6th gen) for my 6'4'' of lank. But apparently they plan on all rear seat passengers being 70% legs.

And I almost forgot...
I got to check out a Juke in person. Yeah, it's ugly. But I can't help but like the thing. It's just...odd. The real killer for me isn't the styling, it's the driving position. Seat height is SUV-like and I'm just not up for that unless it comes with a ladder frame and a 2-speed transfer case.
