Ive been jumping around on Different Fourms ZO6, Stangnet, SVT Fourms, Camaro fourms.........yadayadayada.

Ive noticed that Nico is soooooooo layed back. Most of the threads are very civilized and the people are mostly cool.

But Ive noticed that the other Fourms talk smack about how their cars are the best, Boasting and Bragging how ricers or nissans or 240s aint nothin.

So Im just putting up this thread for fun, for us Nissan owners, not just 240 guys to let off some steam. Have some fun, talk some crap.

I know my 240 will be runnin real fast this year with the turbo upgrade, runnin 400rwhp. So these guys who beat me last year when the car ran horrible will be in for a HUGE surprise.

Im sick of the 03 cobra guys. Yap yap yap. Man its gonnna be sweet passing those pigs in 3rd.

Anyone else got some revenge plans?????

Who doesn't? I'm going for Z06's and new Cobras in particular I'm fairly confidant it'll be able to handle stock ones, but modded ones will give me hell. What I am really looking for is the high school 5.0 boys, they always think there **** is hotter than it really is.

the reason why the 240 forum doesnt talk is because we have nothin to prove, we kno we are superior. Lets see one of there 12sec stangs run one of our 12sec 240s around a road course lol. An yes I cant wait to just demolish those GT owners who think they are bada$$. But my most prized kills will be porsche boxsters, total disgrace to teh porsche name. Definatly gonna kill some z06's when im done tho.

ive seen quite a few people here talk smack about hondas. why? i dunno. when i still had my prelude i pulled on a 02' svt cobra vert. that was my best race i had with that car. i know the old guy driving the cobra was like wtf? i know i made him deff too cause my wg dump was right infront of the left front tire. with the 240 im not gonna be worried too much about straight line speed but everything in a package. im going after the guys on a road course *cough* vettes.

*shrugs* I know a few friends with Mustangs, and apart from the cobra, they handle like boats...just haven't seen anything other than straight line power thats impressed me yet. Anyone can autocross, not anyone can do it well

talkin smack is really honestly pointless. I dont mean to come down on you nismodave.. but what you WILL have doesnt count for piss. I can talk all day long about what I am GOING to do to my car.. but when i leave my garage and get tailgated by an 03 cobra.. all that matters is what is already done.

I mention getting tailgated by an 03cobra b/c it happened just the other day. SR20 @ 12PSI is no match, i can tell you that much. While running against him was fun, his car was clearly more powerful, not to mention looked nicer (shiny black, convertable, awesome headlights on those cars, full interior)

I think nico is such a chill place because we all know that saying your going to beat this and beat that really doesnt mean anything (actions vs words). Most nissan enthusiast I know work on their cars for personal pleasure, not to prove something. Compitition is just part of the fun for me, if I lose, I lose to the better car and driver, I have no problem with that.

I definatly have my eyes set on some corvettes in autocross this summer, I hope to be a worthy opponent

thats exactly the right mentality jspec. build your car for you. If i race someone and lose its for one of two reasons, he is a faster driver, or his car is faster than mine. In either case, good for him, that just means i need to drive more and wrench more!

Another thing I noticed today. Why do people say "import it out" (modify) and import car, I mean if you're going to modify a domestic, do you say "domesticate it"?

I do have a car that is already fast, Im just looking forward to seeing how fast it goes with the upgrades. So I do know what I have. I have built my car for me thats why I dont put a wing on my car like "everyone" says I should.

I dont expect there to be a KILLS section here. I just wanted to shake some things up a little. I show NICO to alot of friends of mine, who all drive various types of vehicles, and they say that its a little boring.

I mean comon this site does not have to be POLITE all the time.

The 240 is a great car. Everyone knows that with a bit more power it comes alive. A well modded 240 will take a stock stang or camaro...but its those guys who mod the bigger engines that you have to watch out for. Stangs and Camaros that handle very well have had work done to them....nothing wrong with that. We mod the 240 because it lacks power. If I had a stang, I'd mod it to handle and respond better. Some are great out of the box (but no the ones that I drove). Tuning is about strengthening the weakness of the car and honing the strengths.

When you do that...you should have a car that's plenty of fun for you and performance that will surprise a competitor. I got that reaction from two guys in a GSR tonight. Of course they would have been a faster car if I had not done the mods...but I have. They were impressed and I enjoy my car. That's the best of both worlds!

To me guys, getting wooped by a V8 isn't too shameful. If I get my *** handed to me by a Stang or a vette, big deal coz they are suppose to win, they have double the liters and double the horsepower. Just like when you are in the first grade and you get bullied by a sixth grader, if you fight, you'll get your *** handed to you, some may favor the first grader, some may favor the sixth grader, but if you own a stang or a vette and you got your *** handed to you by a 4 banger... that's embarrasment... They may talk smack about 240's but do they know anything about this car, nope! The only thing they know is that their car is faster. It's like being lectured by someone who knows absolutely nothing about the subject they are lecturing you in so it's pointless and a waste of time to listen or to mimic their actions. I believe nico members either consciously or unconsciously aware of this "waste of time" fact, that's why we don't or hardly do it here.

I haven`t raced anybody but 91 240sx totally stock . Hmm I don`t think I could beat a 6 cylinder mustang. I have 160k miles and just hoping it will last me another year so I can afford to replace with a SR20. By the way who could I beat with stock SR20?

Like someone said above. The vast majority of DSM car owners automatically say "imports suck" when they were the name of any import car. Its retarded...

I have a couple of friends that just hate import cars because they have small engines... wtf

They try and try to come of reason about why small engines suck, but they can't. They also refuse to acknoweldge the fact that the small engines do so much more with what they have to work with compared to the huge displacement america engines...

They are jealous... and I bet they need big engines to make up for something else they are lacking...

when ever i beat one of my buddies with a V8 or V6 i get the same responce.....if i put X amount of dollars in my car i'd beat the crap out of your car. then i have to tell them that they did put X amount of dollars in their car when the bought their 02-03 vehical for 25-30k. i then explain to them that i spent about 17k total for my car and i'm still beating them.....cough....with a "little 4 banger ricer engine"..........slightly modded of course

:Werd That my friend is probably the biggest rush. I like how you explained that. Performance to Price ratio is probably the biggest reason to tune a car in the first place.

nathan i agree with those 5.0's and what not, i live in the middle of East-Bum**** and all the people here. The kids in ym school all have those old mustangs, liek 89-91. They are all piss slow except one that has a supercharger on it. And there is a girl here that also has a 200 Celica, not a GT-s but its got a body-kit carbonf-fiber hood(actually just a black painted hood) and some weird type of tinted window, and she says she can beat almsot anything. Last year she claimed to me and a friend she could beat cyberkreigs S13.
