Coilovers should be the first thing you do to you car. Well security is the first thing you should do. If you don't have any yet I suggest to get a pager alarm, brake lock, and removible steering wheel. After work on suspension because with out suspension there is no point in getting performance. After suspension you can work on performance. Look can be anyways where anytime but I suggest for it to be after security.

Btw this is my opinion and you can take it or leave it but I think its a pretty good guideline to follow

Security --> Suspension --> Performance

And you have put Looks, suck as body kit, HID's, Rims and such after you get security.

I started with the turbo wipers. Really disperses the rain fast. A bit pricey but worth it.

Then I went with the high compression floor mats. Such a difference from stock.

After that, I decided to spend some money and install the titanium muffler bearings. Night and day. But they aren't cheap.

Next up is the condubilator shaft mod. That'll turn some heads.

Its all personal preferance though. I mean personally I went with the exhaust first just to give it some sound then continued. But it is most definatly personal preferance because probally everyone on here started at a different spot or thinks some thing is better to start at then others.

Personally, I would start with suspension upgrades, as any performance mod will benefit from upgraded suspension. Then, work your way to exhaust upgrades (no Honda cans either, I'm talking stainless-steel tubing, high-flow mufflers, etc). Then, you can yank the motor and drop a small-block in its place.

Well, what kind of "customization" are you talking about. Are you looking to make the car faster? Corner better? Look cooler? Ride nicer? Better stereo? All of the above? I would recommend that you consider what you want out of the car before you start modding. I used to be the kind of guy that would buy whatever parts were available for my cars because anything different from stock was cool to me. Now, I'll look at everything thats available and even consider modifications of existing parts for things like grills, etc. to get the overall look that I desire out of the car. You can do things to the car that don't really require spending money - things like painting (the engine cover, brake calipers, factory grille, interior parts, etc). My car is a commuter so I don't really care too much about the peformance. I'm the kind of guy that just likes people to look at my car and think it looks nice, so my upgrades are mostly cosmetic, but not "ricer" (I don't plan to do anything to the car that only makes it look faster). I have plans for wheels, factory sport side sills, and an OEM spoiler to finish off the look. I'm also serioulsy considering that new grille that versaspeed.com just started offering, but with a modified factory grille to finish off the center of it.

I always say get rid of the stock wheels first off.
