sorry for such a n00b question, but what exactly is involved in getting the head to fit physically, or will it line up with the stock rwd sr block perfectly?
It's a SR head so it will bolt to a SR block. The magic starts when you have to get the VVL to work, add a new intake manifold, a CAS that goes to the rear of the head because it started life in a fwd car. Also money and more money. Find someone selling a VE head and oil pump= 900-800. The whole motor will cost you prob 1200 but since your doing rwd you won't need it. Getting the head on the motor isn't the hard part.
