S14sr block with a Neo VVL head...ALL custem... man that vteck kicks and it pulls so hard..Has anyoone done this befor or am i the only one?

it dyno..with s15 turbo..stock boost and 550cc..at 268hp on stock ecu with out the vvl on..just to see how much power it would flow with that head.next dyno run is a 17psi whith vvl on!!! ill fing the sheat...man its fast.

there is no FMIC and HEADERS because wanted to see the power stock

first, awsome job, second. where do you get thes and how much all together would it be? iv seen thes befor but i get confused when i see them because theey look weird but i like them. third, does riveting thos seems do the same as stiching them would? did it make a noticable difference? nice job now get out the polishing wheels and spray paint you got alot of work to do

is that the SR20VE 20V or the SR20VET head?

yup I could tell by the coil packs that its not the regular SR20VE

I believe its the SR20VET from Japan that makes 280 hp stock. They used it in a Nissan SUV.

sorry for such a n00b question, but what exactly is involved in getting the head to fit physically, or will it line up with the stock rwd sr block perfectly?

It's a SR head so it will bolt to a SR block. The magic starts when you have to get the VVL to work, add a new intake manifold, a CAS that goes to the rear of the head because it started life in a fwd car. Also money and more money. Find someone selling a VE head and oil pump= 900-800. The whole motor will cost you prob 1200 but since your doing rwd you won't need it. Getting the head on the motor isn't the hard part.
