ITS FINALLY DONE! (actually its just getting started)

so after reading and posting on here for at least 2 years i have finally got my KA-T up and running... i bought most of the kit through a guy from midatlantic240sx.com and pieced the fuel side together myself. im currently running:

it seems like this project has been full of BUTS though and for the final but is why my car is not making better power... my car is making 195hp and 196lbs torque at 5000rpms in 4th on a dynomax. see the clutch is slipping. i bought a spec clutch BUT cipperformance quoted me with the wrong one. i told them i was going to have around 240 to the wheel and they gave me a stage 2. well apparently around 5000rpms on the dynomax the clutch starts slippin. i have the dyno graph that shows it but no scanner just yet. so now i am stuck with a car that can overperform but the clutch wont let it and im going back to school in a week and half. i dont have the money to get a new clutch right now or the time to install it. the guys at the shop that tuned my setup said that it might not slip on the street and to check it out cause the dynomax puts a heavier load on it sometimes but i dont know. we will see. either way im still real happy with the setup. it was expensive for only 195 though. hopefully it will all get worked out next summer. its acceptable for now. i have pics but they are on my aunts computer. ill be going up there tomorrow so hopefully ill have some pics up then.

ill be selling my spec stage 3 clutch soon. its got about 15k mi on and holds about 275rwhp and tq. the only time it slips is at the track when i launch with my vlsd and 255's. the best 60' time i can get iwth it is a 2.3. only gonna want like $100 for it once my cm stage 5 gets here this week

i gotta get some finished pics. i just realized i dont have any of the car done. ill try to get some of those and put them up in the next couple days. i still have to install the boost gauge and play a lot of the new madden collectors edition i bought. man i have a rough life!

haha no not yet. i just got it running yesterday. its going to be a while. im leaving for school in a week and dont make enough money while im there plus i dont have any tools or place to work on it there. summer is my only car time (it kinda sucks). also i have to finish paying off the turbo. haha. oh yea and i need a stronger clutch too first. haha.

Your clutch is fine kev lol. The stage 1 would even suit your needs, its just not broke in all the way yet. The 500 miles needs to be city and hwy. Sometimes it takes a little more than 500 miles to be broken in, trust me that stage 2 will do just fine Ill bring my KA-t over before you leave and we can go head to head haha.
