actually the others are a little bit more than 3 inches, the gt spec is almost 4 inches. the gt spec is specifically made for turbo apps, thats why its so big. also because apexi is showing off their 95mm mandrel bender. this is all what someone told me when i had a question about it a while back. im n/a right now but im going turbo and want to have the exhaust for it when i do. have you looked into blitz nur spec? im between either that or the ex mag.SR20DETPoweredS14 wrote:I also beleive it is a 3" exhaust compared to most of the other 2+ inch exhausts
ill definately be looking forward to hearing what you think...9240sx wrote:Just odered one up will let you guys know when i get it!!!!!!
Same thought too! The polished metal is the only thing that tips off cops that you're running an aftermarket catback. I was thinking of going for the BBQ-Paint approach instead----just because the thought of cutting a piece off of a $530 exhaust is very disturbing.J-Spec Tuner wrote:...I've actually been thinking of cutting off the tip since the pipe from the muffler extends all the way to the end of the tip anyways. I think it would look pretty sleeper.
could you post some links to these videos, I have the gt spec on my car, but my motor isn't done yet, I'm curious what its going to sound like with the stock turbo.RMiller wrote:The droning is the worst. I've only heard the GT spec in videos, and it doesn't seem to drone at all. That would be my pick. I don't like the N1 dual because I think it looks a little too "blingy." And I think the Exmag looks good.
ditto. right down to replacing my apexi turbo n1 with silencer.chickentendah wrote:So...........I just picked up my RSR Exmag, and I can confirm that it's beautiful.
After my install, i'll be sure to post back on my impressions (and some pics if I get access to a camera):
