its driving me nuts!!

ok you all know i've been having some massive issue with my car (KA24DE) long story short if i start the car up and take off it'll hit 6500 no problem but the more i drive my car the less rpm i have... so i checked my cooling system and replaced my radiator cap and coolant sensor the car doesn't overheat at all but the longer i drive the less i can rev high after about twenty minutes of driving i can only rev to 4000 but i noticed if my foot isn't all the way on the gas i can rev up to 5500 before it starts acting as though its starved for fuel i just don't get it and i can't keep hitting and missing like this its to expensive

Fuel pressure regulator. I'm assuming. I do believe there is a sticky with all the acronyms.
