hey guysjust fired her up tonighti need to ggive it a little throttle to get it started, but after like 10seconds it runs really nice so far. idle is nice and smooth.starter makes a hanus noise cuase its off a tooth:( but it works.

ok so i get it started, go to look at my coolant lines to see how they are holding up, and i see fluid comin out like crazy, so i run over and turn it off. i look around dont really see anything. pour some oil inj ust in case, then i have my step mom start it while im watching. its dripping/shooting out of the oil bracket unit. it mates to the block and the oil filter srewwcs onto it. didnt loose too much oil, cauht it retty fast so im lucky.

what happened was when i was dissasembling my motor, i hit that with a hammer to get it off, and where a bolt goes in it chiped off, but just the corner. so what i did was get a big washer, so there is still good force holding the thing down. i guess that piece slightly bent or its not tight enough.

the dilema, they are tight. much tighter and i feel those bolts will snap/twist and i will be screwed. should i tighten more and pray? im not really feelin that idea but i leave it to the pros rafi and boost boy etc

so i guess if anyone has an extra one for sale i need it ASAP will paypa tonight and for fast shipping. let me know.

thanksmatt

I'd start hitting the junkyards. Also, did you put in a new gasket when you put it back on? I tried to use just RTV and it didn't work at all. I went and got a gasket from Nissan and it sealed up just fine.

If you've chipped it, it's best to just replace it. The one you have currently, is it water-cooled or just the oil filer base. I have one or the other somewhere, so just check your mail.
