CVT is officially dead and im 3 months outside the warranty range only 72k miles, nissan quoted 4.3k to completely replace but id rather that go into a new car, any ideas on what i can do with this to get the most money out of it?

mac,look into seeing what it takes to "stick a manual in there" , if possible & done right - at least you'll have fun and later probly able to sell it for "something" better than now ?

honestly this whole thing soured me on nissan, i was already planning on getting a q40 after this, not even messing with infinti after this

I think your best *cheapest* option is to buy a CVT from a salvage shop and install that. Because if you'll pay for a new unit you might as well buy a whole other car.
