After a couple of months of troubleshooting and redoing a lot of things, the beast finally roared to life . You should have seen the smile on my face, i didn't even have anybody around to show it to. just wanted to thank all the people who took time to answer all my stupid questions and offer suggestions, not to forget those who contributed to all the old threads that i spend night after night seatching through.

The reason why my car wasn't starting is so stupid, i'm embarassed to even say it. don't worry i'll tell

now i need to take care of the steering shaft clearance issue and the driveshaft and then take it for a drive. when i started my car, it idled great but i was expecting to be rough since my downpipe and elbow are unbolted which means my O2 sensor was getting very bad readings. what are the effects of running a car without the O2 sensor? I only had it running for less than a minute, i'm just puzzled by the fact that it didn't stumble and die or something to that effect.

what options do i have as far as the steering shaft clearance issue. at this present moment, i can't afford to get a new custom downpipe/elbow unless somebody can make them for super cheap.

for the driveshaft, those who did not have the RB25 driveshaft, what was the part number for the york that you used? the one local driveshaft shop that i know doesn't look like it has Z32 yorks in stock. can they cross-reference it or do i need to get the specs of the RB york then have them find a matching unit.

thank you all

p.s. sorry, no video, camcorder is missing battery. no pics, g/f has digital camera in NY. my luck

How much? I need to get a price quote from the driveshaft shop to see what the difference in prices is.

I know this thread is ancient, but where does one find a Z32 front driveshaft yolk? Nissan said they only supply it with the driveshaft attached. Is there a part number that cross-references any other Nissan models?
