i know im not in the right forum becuase i own a rwd sr but its an NA sr and pandas itb set up looks sweet. so i plan on makin my own set for the sr instead of buying from tomei but my question is i already got a apexi power fc d-jetro from earlier because i got it from a friend for really cheap with a sr20det and was wondering it that would work for a stand alone or would i have to tinker with the ignition and other stuff to make it work considering i have a distributor while the turbo models have coil packs?

if your going to run a MAF, through a plenum, the PFC should work (i think). But if you don't run a MAF, a standalone is needed. (like Mega Squirt, AEM EMS, etc...)

if anything, having a distributor would make it a lot easier.

The MAF is there to determine how much fuel to deliver. The easiest way, IMO, is to try to find a HKS VPC/GCC for an SR20. It converts speed density and air intake temperature into a fake MAF reading.

I dont' know anything about the Power FC D-Jetro though.

Another option, since you're running N/A, is to get a standalone that will offer AlphaN option. Basically, you could use MAP for timing and throttle position for load. It's common for open ITB setups.
