okay i am going to be putting ITB's on my KA and i was wonderig that if i pu the ITB's on with a plenum and an intake will the ITB's still be as torquey as if they were like the race type ITB's or the kind with the velocity stacks. i want the kind with the velocity stacks, but i dont know what fuel managment to use i herd good stuff from mega-squirt but i dont know what to buy from them to make there system work.

sounds like a fun project bro. check over in the ka forum and prepare to be flamed. if you are serious and keep working at it they will respect you and help you out.

itb's with plenum will be much easier to tune with less stuff

itb's with open velocity stacks will require many more changes

both will be complicated with less gain than you may expect.

Just out of curiosity, what happens to the MAF when you convert to open velocity stacks? Do you need to modify the ECU to run without it?

I've got some Hayabusa throttle bodies and a project in mind...,If you feed your ITB's from a common plenum with the MAF mounted on the inlet and the TPS mounted on the ITB throttle shaft it should work. Of course you'll still need to figure out how to use the Idle Air module if you want it to work with the stock ECU and idle properly. You might even be able to use the swirl control valve solenoid to control dual-length runners!....,

you have to go speed density and ditch maf.
