Finally coming along, hoping they'll be complete in the next few weeks:

Also had a ford 36-1 pattern CAS trigger disk made so my ECU will recognise it:

That is awesome!

Are the TBs from a universal kit or were they custom fabbed?

Cheers guys, can't wait to get them finished now. Hopefully should get started on the air boxes and intake this weekend. They're all custom fabbed from scratch.

Why do you think 36 slots:

10 degrees at cams or 20 at crank is accurate enough to optimize spark at high rpms.

Considering the higher than normal redline you will probably have?

Why the oem Q uses 1 degree at cams 2 at crank.

Its a standard ford pattern and emerald have tested timing to 15,000 rpm with less than 0.1 degree shift using this pattern.

Yeah tech when the ECU knows how fast the engine is spinning and that it's between 'X' and 'Y' degrees, it can calculate timing more accurately than just to every 10 degrees.

Bit of trivia wit hthose ford timing disks:Ford Australia used them in the EA model Falcons (abliet with a poor grade material and a poor seal) then they 90% or so, began rusting and caused what we in Aus commonly know as the "EA lemon car" true story!

What are those white metal pieces in the first pic? I know they form the oval to round transition from the head to the ITB's, but do they have a name? Are they just formed from sheet metal?
