Just wanna know if anyone here has attempted to fabricate a ITB setup to our CA's?

I have been pondering with the idea for the better part of a year now and have collected the necessary parts to attempt it.

I remember one of the forum members from Germany made his own custom setup but he didnt seem keen on sharing info and specs on it.

Would any of you fellas know what kind of horsepower increase the ITB manifold would have?

I have a ITB setup of a Honda GSXR-1000 which have 45mm butterflies. I cut the flange of the plennum side of the CA manifold and will be fabricating the ITB onto the flange, so i can just bolt it onto the lower part of the manifold for ease of fitment. Which is where im upto with the project. I will be puting up some pics soon.

I also have a ITB setup of a Nissan Pulsar GTIR that i was playing around with but the manifold is a lil to big to fit and fabricate so i had to give it a miss.

Now, my plan was to stick it on a DE with velocity stacks, i will need an aftermarket ECU with MAP sensor which will come in due time.

So yea, sorry bout the long post but just wanted to know if any other member has attempted the ITB setup??

Only with the use of dual carbs. I havnt seen more than a handful of ITB CA's and no one has really done any writeups or anything. If you do a writeup I will recommend you for president of earth.

Here is mine, not custom but what the hell. I so far have an RSR RWD CA 4-1 exhaust mani, and some HKS pistons coming. Saving up for some rebuild parts and a standalone system. More than likely I will be dropping the carbs and going with the 2900 series induction kit , but at a grand for the setup that will be a little while. As always thanks to TMS for finding something else I have to buy.

Wulf is the one who came up with the custom ITB setup and no he won't share the specs.
