I attended last year, spent all weekend @ the circle track for the drifting. At the time we took a Nissan S14.5 for the drift comp and placed 3rd. Hopefully they will bring drifting back to IRP again this year.

I was in the drift shootout last year in the amateur class. I had the Blue S13 ka-t hatch. Looks like they have the drift shoot out again on the list of events. I might be getting a hotel room again or staying at a friends house.

The driver was Nate Brasz, but we (Zerolift) built the car for a customer and Nate piloted it to a 3rd place finish.

Possibly but I will most likely bring the S13 drift coupe if its finished. I may have a friend bring the kouki down for me or possibly leave it down there at a friends house a few days before, so I can drive it at night.

If I have a friend bring it down it will be in the show. I'm still not sure if I will stay in a hotel or at a friends house.

I just got something in the mail a few days ago about saving $15 on pre-registration, but no mention of a drift showoff this year. I guess there will be a burnout contest though.

I say get some hotel rooms reserved close to the truck bash. Then at the truck bash park together bring some coolers and have a good time. The truck bash is beyond huge. Last year they had a free dyno and bracket racing.

Shouldn't be any problem for me to make it this year. I called, they said no drifting.

i think it is like 40$ or something to register your car in the actual show. I am just going to hang out there....not enter my car, or atleast not this year. I read that they have parking for modified cars even if you dont enter the actual show...lol. If you car looks good you get to park closer.
