5 Idiot Inmates are suing alcohol distributors (Anheuser Busch, Coors, Miller, Jim Beam, etc.) for a BILLION dollars because they said if they hadn't had access to alcohol, they never would have committed the crimes they did to land them in jail.

Keith Allen Brown, Steven Thompson, Woodrow Grant, Cory Baugh and Jeremy Brown all claim that alcohol led them to their crimes and they should have been warned of the beverages' addictive nature.
"If I was not an alcoholic, the shooting would never have happened," Jeremy Brown said in his affidavit. Brown, 34, is serving a 20- to 30-year sentence for a 2001 shooting that seriously injured a man.
The plaintiffs' crimes range from manslaughter to grand theft. They are currently serving time at Idaho's Kuna facility.
Their lawsuit, filed in Boise's U.S. District Court last month, targets eight defendants, including Anheuser-Busch, Coors, Miller Brewing and the owner of Jim Beam whiskey, American Brands. The inmates claim the companies are responsible for their crimes and should have put warning labels on their products.
"I have spent a great deal of that time in prison because of situations that have arose because of people being drunk, or because of situations in which alcohol played a major role," Jeremy Brown said in his affidavit.

and here's the best part......

"At no time in my life, prior to me becoming an alcoholic, was I ever informed that alcohol was habit forming and addictive."

the urge to use my 2nd Amendment rights to protect the human race from this level of stupid is very high at the moment :squint:

With one exception, they all look young and dumb in those pictures. WAY to young to be able to claim that they didn't know the addictive capabilities of alcohol.

I hope they stumble into the street and get hit by a garbage truck. People like this are nothing but drags on society.

SO I guess all those times you were drinking alcohol to excess was just because of how thirsty you were, right?

I guess this means we get to laugh at all the future warnings we will see inside the beer store from now on... I can see it now!

Warning: Drinking alcohol in excess can make you drunk. :slap:
Warning: Drinking alcohol every day means you are an alcoholic.

I wonder if this means that NY state is not going to limit the purchase of beers to 6 a day. Fu*k, I think I gave 'em an idea now...

Not likely. It'll get dismissed quickly just as the hundreds of others do every year. Frivolous inmate filed lawsuits like this one happen every day. It's become a sport "f-ing" with the legal system, and easy to do given the current legal system.

Yea, I doubt these guys are serious. It's more likely they're bored and have nothing better to do.

One of the many reasons our jail system doesn't work. If those guys were actually paying of theier debt to society by working for society, instead of consuming resources and tax dollars, I'd be willing to bet they wouldn't have the time or energy to be plugging up our court system with this crap.

Yep. They're unlikely to cure cancer. May as well be fertilizer.
