Not crazy about the looks, but you can't argue with the awesome functionality of a Subaru. However, if I lived on the west side, I'd get an amphibious vehicle.

nowhere near as bad as the 5 door looks. minus the weird grille and headlights, i actually like the proportions and profile.

althought it incorporates several of the nu-car design features i have come to hate, it does it in a more subdued manner than most. choice color for it too.

If it's an Impreza with a turbo, Subaru doesn't give the option for an autotragic.
and that's the way it should be.

Agreed!

Yep. I used to write a lot... gave it up when it started to be not worth the risk.

I believe the manual only started either this year, or in '08.

Yeah, the wheel gap is huge, but... After driving the G35, it's nice to pull into parking spots and not worry about curbs, and pulling straight out of the driveway instead of at a 45º angle is really nice. So lowering it may be put off for a while.

You're correct, sir. Recent thing.

All hail wagons.

09 is the first year for manual only WRX (08 being last year of auto WRX). The auto version of WRX is now called Impreza GT.
