Ok, so if you read my previous post about not being able to get the thing started I finally was able to. My timing was like 50 degrees off!!! So I messed w/ the cams and it started up. I think they still might be a little off because the idle isnt very good. And that leads me into my next question.

The car idles (like crap) if u give it some gas, but as soon as u let off it dies (so the TPS prolly isnt bad), but no matter how much throttle you give it it wont go past idle (about 600 rpm) or do anything. I'm going to mess w/ the MAF wiring, but I think it is right, and it shoudl rev a little bit, right? If my timing is still off would that cause it to not rev at all?

Another question. I have openings on my intake. 1 on the intercooler piping (blitz)near the throttle body, 1 on the APEXI intake kit, and 1 on the stock intake tubing to the filter. I have the intercooler one and the APEXI one blocked off and the other one going to the valve cover breather hose. Is that right?

And there is a lil vaccum nipple on the back of the intake manifold. Where does that go? again I have it blocked off.

Have you set the timing using the procedure in the FSM?

you messed with the cams? did you install new cams and have them mistimed? If anything, I would imagine your ignition timing was off.

When you say cams, I hope you mean you just adjusted the CAS (cam angle sensor).

As for the idle, with the boost leeks you mention, which I dont understand how you have them, this would mess up your idle. Try unplugging you MAF, and see what happens, since most of these are bad from the start.

Try taking it over 2000 rpms... if it starts to cut out even more and eventually cuts out on with a limiter then it's the MAF.

Or just un-plug the MAF.

The ic pipe opening by the throttle body should be plugged into your intake manifold iavc(a tube coming out from inside the intake manifold by tps). This helps the car start up and warm up with a smooth idle.

I don't get it when you said you have an opening on your Apexi intake kit. There should be two larger openings on the stock air intake, one for the pcv where stock oil catch can connects to that t bolt on the valve cover and the other opening is for rerouting the stock bypass valve back into the intake. Other small nipples on the stock air intake should be blocked off.

Where exactly is the small vacuum nipple on the back of the intake manifold? I don't recall seeing any vacuum nipples on the intake manifold unless you're talking about your fuel line nipples. One is on the fpr and the other is in between I believe runner 3 and 2 on the intake manifold. Both are for fuel lines.

i hope your not talking about the vacuum nipple for your brake booster, although thats not exactly "small".
