JK man, hope everything keeps going well for ya.

BTW, this is Justin Finken, the guy with the gold RB25 S14.
Whats up dude? You got that turbo on there yet?
Not yet clutch blew up, but I got it repalced with a Heavy Duty ACT 6 puck, so that set me back a lil on putting the new turbo on.

when done properly you wont have a problem, bondoing body panels after a drift crash never works. but using thin amounts to smooth stuff out is just fine. underneath is all dura-glass which is a great base, that doesnt expand even close to what the bondo would. Don't hate.

I was saying ehhhh to the 600-700 hp claim.

Not trying to rain on your parade bud, but Zach has a built SR20 on a 3071 and he can barely get it to go past 400whp.

Your going to have to go with a pretty big turbo, and by that time, your lag is going to rediculous, and not good for anything but going in a straight line.

RB + 37R = SR dessimation :P

I sold the 35 and got a 37 :P

400whp is easily doable on a 3071 and some good cams... If he's barely getting there, I blame the tune or a lack of some good cams. Hell, codyace did it on a rom tune with S3 cams and a 2871 .64 AR..

yea but if we are talking about the same zach, he has baby cams compared to mine, and im no longer going with the 3071. the smallest will be a 3076. going twin scroll, e-85, water/meth injection. still debating on what turbo, im going to dyno my s*** on 30+ pounds so i should easily break 500. been talking to alot of tuners, and i should surpass 600.

Well guys, i am finally finished with the engine bay, it looks way sick. took alot of work, and some extra money that i didnt plan on spending, but it is definately worth it now that its reality and not just something i imagined. Couple minor things will need to get done, such as running steel braided fuel line into the engine bay, and steel braided brake lines.... still dont know which direction i wanna go with that. But my main focus is switched back over to the engine. Its.... in a way.... almost done. Or at least i keep telling myself that to keep myself sane. Enough Rambling here are the pics

Get coilovers man. If you go with a strut/spring set up you will regret it...

Umm.. 006s come in 4 lug. Why go through the trouble and money for a 5 lug swap when you can get XXRs in 4 lug? Enjuku sells a set of 4 for $475

Ordered my brain crower pro series rods on friday, those should be here later this week. other then that, theres not alot left that needs done, just alot of little stuff. ill take pics of the progress as soon as i get the motor and head back from the machine shop and i start throwing it all back together

well the flywheel came in like 10 minutes ago. Payday is friday and I will be ordering my clutch! Only a few things left to do motor wise. Then I just need to save up for the manifold, turbo, and downpipe. Switching to top mount. Also need that greddy intake manifold, so maybe i will get that first. Anyways kinda of a lame update but its closer to being finished none the less.

Unless you plan on going through trannys like water, you should go with a sprung. Those springs help soften the blows your transmission takes. A few yrs ago I bought the same setup and after talking to a few people that knew more then me (including the vendor that sold me the clutch) I returned the unsprung and got a sprung. Unsprung clutches are like adding a lighten crank pully to your engine, sure you get response but your car will be bye bye soon after a few races. Beside 576ft lbs is not that easy to get to so you most likely won't need a clutch with that rating. If you do then twin plate is much better for your application. Other then that, your doing great keep it up.
