...but to carelessly accuse a Presidential candidate of committing a felony?

http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/12/politics/ ... ?hpt=hp_c1

This, on the heels of a false accusation about "outsourcing"?

His campaign managers are clowns. Making stuff up without checking facts might be a liberal hallmark, but you'd think that educated people with so much at stake would at least do a little research. They're even more retarded than the "birthers".

The Obama campaign is out of control, desperate, and scared, after accomplishing not much. There's a good reason HE isn't speaking in front of the NAACP - They'd lynch him for his failed promises to the Black community in America.

It'll be interesting to see if he responds to the call for an apology. This negative campaign crap is absurd.

RUN ON YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS, MR PRESIDENT!

Oh, and here's a hint: "IT'S THE ECONOMY, STUPID." :gapteeth:

Like I said, it's one thing to sling mud.

What's to stop the "lunatic fringe" from creeping into these discourses even further?

What's next? BO rapes White babies? MR sold his daughter into the sex trade?

The blase attitude (as seen above) is why this stuff continues. No call for accountability, and no consequences for being wrong. Sad. And yet, they'll still get votes.

I'll remember too!

Greg doesn't seem to get it that when one signs SEC documents and federal tax returns it may constitute a felony if some of that information is false.

We'll all find out soon enough when Willard provides the American People 12 years of his federal tax returns just like his father did.

:chuckle: Clearly Romney is every bit as loose with the truth as Obama. It's futile to keep score.

What's much more disturbing to me is how fickle we Americans are (in general, not you guys specifically), that both candidates/parties feel they can keep getting away with this nonsense on such a big scale. I'd love to see each party fined $100,000 for every lie they get caught making during their campaigns. Heck, we'd eliminate the budget decifit before every election.

I'll ignore the cretin who didn't read the article (have a little http://factcheck.org/2012/07/romneys-ba ... onclusion/ with your Geritol, Howie)...

Bubba, I looooove the idea of fining parties for lies. We'd finally get an Independent / Libertarian candidate and not a bunch of ignorant, two-faced blowhards. And yes, the POTUS is indeed a blowhard, in the truest sense of the word.

I lol'ed at his recent interview, where he said his "biggest mistake" of his first term was... wait for it... wait for it...

"Too much substance, not enough style."

Said it with a straight face, too. Good God, his voters are gullible mouthbreathers.

More from CNN

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/

It was brought out this morning on the Sunday morning talk shows that 94% of Americans have already made up their minds on who they are going to vote for in November. Only eight or nine states are in play that are going to give President Obama the 270 electorial votes that he needs.

Romney provided 23 years of tax returns to the McCain campaign in 2008 and they concluded that Palin was a better choice. :chuckle:

There is something in those tax returns that Romney does not want the American people to know.

As for jobs in the US the republican controlled house has spent 2 full weeks attempting to repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obama Care) 33 times. They have spent many many hours wasting time on abortion and contraception.
Nothing on jobs

In 2008 the Olympic uniforms under Romney;s leadership were made in Canada. The US lost those jobs.

Willard appears to be the 2012 version of Gordon Gekko

In short Greg your political choices again as in 2008 are one big FAIL :chuckle:

I think you misspelled the words, "I'm sorry, I was wrong."

You could add to that, "I'm too weak-minded to admit that I guzzle false information from the teat of sensationalist, emotionally-driven, intellectually-bereft 'news' sources."

When even Democrats admit that there was no wrongdoing on Romney's part, do you disagree with them? DO YOU?

Or do you remain delusional and blindly accept every utterance from the BO campaign manager as fact?

Again: Do you disagree with the Dems who retracted this irresponsible and ignorant claim?
telcoman wrote:In short Greg your political choices again as in 2008 are one big FAIL
Your reading comprehension is one big fail.

I can't count the number of times I've told you, the DNC and the GOP both suck. I'm a registered Independent, and a Libertarian through and through. If you weren't so busy seeing Big Bad Republicans under your adjustable Granny bed, you'd have noticed that.

Just because I think the POTUS and his band of merry a$$clowns are a bunch of limp-wristed stooges doesn't mean I support his opponent. I've got a myriad of reasons why Mitt won't get my vote, and many of them are not publishable in mixed company.

But in your finger-paint world, it's all black and white, right?

Jobs report under BO? Still dismal. FACT. He's a failure, and you can't blame it on the House. FACT. If he had half a nut in his sack, he'd have had the leadership skills to reach across the aisle and get things done. FACT. He didn't. FACT.

He's a charlatan, a wannabe "statesman", and a pathetic excuse for a President. Black people have even jumped off his campaign like rats from a sinking ship.

If he wins, it'll be because his opponent sucks just as much as he does. FACT.

Since they don't deliver the newspapers in Chicago ;) (at least not any that might paint BO in a positive light), here's a start:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/ ... story.html

We could look at Obamacare, which, despite voter opposition, is "Here to stay" (i.e., "I know better than you what's best for you and your family"):

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls ... -1130.html

Afghanistan:

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162- ... -time-low/

Hell, he can't even stand behind his blah-blah-blah about gay marriage. SAYING you don't oppose something, while doing nothing at all to promote it, is the same as saying you oppose it.

By the way, Massachussetts PASSED gay marriage - while Romney was the Governor. He didn't veto it. Hmmmm.

Who's REALLY looking out for gays? The guy who doesn't quash it when he has the authority, or the guy who doesn't support it when he has the authority?

All this can certainly be argued, so spare me the talking points - I answered your question, and I'd rather wait for Howie to render a verdict, based on facts, as to how Mr. Romney is a "felon".

By the way, speaking of felons, you've gotta love a President whose Justice Department puts people in jail for doing the SAME things he did in high school, and presumably, college - He was quite the pothead, which means he somehow avoided a possession charge, and "possession with intent to distribute" wouldn't be a real stretch.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/ele ... _blog.html

NOW who's a felon?

Must have been all that money and influence... Rich, educated, half-white guys don't go to prison for drugs, right?

Weirdly enough, I am one of the 4 people who still enjoy reading a paper and it actually The Chicago Tribune (conservative leaning).

Thanks for the input regardless.

Ah - Not too familiar with the Tribune, but I'll check it out.

Is it me, or is it damn near impossible to find a news outlet that just provides the facts (all of the known facts) without spin or "lean"?

We're moving more and more towards TMZ-style "reporting". Even my old standby, CNN, is woefully guilty of it nowadays. :(

Yeah like Fox they originally reported the incorrect Supreme Court decision on the Affordable Care Act

Perhaps you should try The New York Times, The Washington Post and MSNBC. MSNBC got it right :yesnod

The "OPINION PAGES".

Any retard (yours truly - and Howie - included) can gag up some drivel and submit it online to a newspaper. So, *yawn*...

Speaking of opinions, what would the opinion be if I decided to post a sign in your yard saying you molested my Labrador Retriever? No proof, no evidence - just careless mudslinging?

Never mind - "Retriever" is a word on the 8th-grade reading list.

Having utter and complete disdain for the policies of those in power does not necessarily mean one supports the opposition.

That's something I've been trying to drill through Howie's combover since Day One. :)

I'm a fiscally conservative, socially liberal, libertarian who's registered as an Independent voter.

Basically, I consider all issues on a common-sense basis, not based on what some pinhead politician wants me to think.

Stop trying. It appears some people are incapable of believing there are people out there who don't support one of this nation's two primary ideologies in their entirety.
