Cool this is good news. Working with PJ has been a great experience! Nice to have a good business company that will answer phone calls, offer tech support and work with you and not just sell you stuff.

The Boost Designs store is looking good (good job, Ryan...I assume this was your work) and they've got some good prices on name-brand stuff.

I'm very interested in the Stage 1 kit with the T3 Super 60. Add in a JWT ECU and some 370cc injectors and that sounds like it would rock...hard!

Only one catch with the downpipe...it only mates up with the BD exhaust (without cat, I believe). Maybe PJ can expound on this, but I'd imagine it wouldn't be hard to have something fabbed up to connect the manifold to your cat.

I must say, I checked out the site, and I am blown away by the completeness and the prices you have offered, I think this is what has been missing from the KAT world and I hope you make millions. I just wish i found this before I started my own KAT project from scratch. Welcome to NICO.

Agreed, it's simply amazing how much the support and availability of aftermarket parts has exploded for the KA-T. Back when I turbocharged my car, there were three kits, and all were very over-priced and didn't have that good of fuel management...FMAX, Nsport and XS-engineering. They all went for around $3800 (!!!!). Now there's kits like boost designs which come with awesome tubular, stainless-steel, *almost* equal-length manifolds and almost everything needed to turbocharge your car for only $1800. That's not just a little bit cheaper...that's less than 1/2 the price, and with better parts. Simply amazing. I feel shafted

not really a shame it was done that way for flow. the way our downpipe and exhaust is designed there is no way that you can connect my downpipe to your factory exhaust and get the same amount of flow and horespower that you can from running our exhaust system. all these componets were designed to work in conjunction with the other to make the system the best it can possible be. again this isnt a factrory turbo engine so you cant think that factory N/A configurations of things like exhaust, cams, intake manifolds, ignition systems, fuel systems, ECU's or basically anything that is setup in this way can be better than a complete revamped system that is designed with flow HP and forced induction in mind. hence the way our DP is designed. thanks

Just curious to what you think is the best way to go about engine management with any turbo setup with the KA? AEM EMS, JWT Re-Prog or things like the piggy backs from greddy apexi etc etc ???

no doubt the aem ems its the best thing on the planet i want one for myself the enthalpy tune second which i will be looking at carrying soon the emanage is a good system i use it in my personal car its just a little complicated to understand the software its a great system to 350HP range it will do alot more but i have come to see once you go over 300-350 range you start looking for better management to exstract more HP at the same boost level which a custom tune or full stand along can do. its just natural progression of turbo charged cars. boost is addictive!!

Ok Cool. I do have a question though.

What size turbo would I want to run if I am going to for a modest 450hp? Also, to improve throttle response should I go with 9:1 rather than 8.5:1? Just trying to get some ides on my eventual KA24DET project (I am acually ordering a 95 OBDII motor this week). -----------------
