Does that mean people using SYNTHETIC are more likely to experience this problem?

Not to my knowledge - Keep in mind, synthetics and dino oil both behave the same in this area...

When I removed my plenum, there was a "puddle" of oil in the valleys of the plenum.

However, I've never experience oil losses that are significant enough to notice between 3K mile oil change intervals (and my G sees track time).

Thus why I really don't consider this a "burning oil" issue, altho the result does end with oil getting burned in the cylinders. It just comes via the intake instead of valves or past the rings.
