can't resist 'sharing' the silver 94 is as close to perfection since i've had her. with the recent front rubber work and no more creaking

of course, i've invested $8000 on parts alone in 29 months of ownership.still--can't imagine a finer car for under $13000 investment (plus a lot of sweat).

Looks sharp. Can't wait till I see it in person. My 94Q base is also under 'rehab'

Very, very nice!

Looks better than the 1995 Q45 I had ... with G35 wheels. Pictures are on the forum somewhere.

You know what I hate about you guys in CA, FL, TX and other snowless locales? No damn road sand and salt to destroy the underneath and the wheels. I try to keep my undercarriage hosed down, but that salt is insidious. Plus you also track the sand and salt into the car. Even all weather mats don't catch it all.

Beautiful looking car. Enjoy!

I've rode in and driven Jay's active and it is a fine automobile. You've done a great job bringing it up to perfection. I can't think of a nicer set of wheels to compliment the silver paint than the ones you have. Bravo.

thanks guys!it's always something of a work in progress as you all can appreciate. there are flaws and they bug me......

my goal has been to bring her to OEM standards, with a few non-obtrusive and non-permanent enhancements.

the black one has had fluid changes (some in in autozone parking lot just outside of ABQ after an hour of ownership)--but is 'waiting' so to speak.

few more of the interior....

wow keep taking care of the leather like you are man, that looks great!

What is that shiny thing next to the clock? I don't see it in the first pic but do in the second... just a reflection or something?

I cant find anything negative about it - yours is definitely one of the best ones around, if only we were all so lucky

Nice. Lucky.

So how would I go about getting a wood kit in my 92? I have a black dash with gray leather seats and carpet.

The best would be Jason Burtman:

But you can find cheaper stick-on stuff on ebay, too.

Gorgeous car, Jay!

Even better, it's an active! I covet it - mph. I truly crave a 95 Q45a in either silver or mulberry. Unfortunately, I put the $8000 into my 96 already.

That car looks beautiful!

I miss Layla, my silver '94 Q45. I sold her almost 3 years ago and people still talk about that car all the time. Friends of the guy I sold her to always mention it when they see me.

But Jason's product is the best for the appliqué type.

Not sure later wood will fit on earlier consoles, but may. Think the door handles and control area are different too.

Beautiful! Car looks the way it should. I've spent more money in less time than you and still have a long way to go. Thanks for sharing. I'd love to see 3 pics of your car:

1. In Normal mode2. In High mode3. With the Active fuse pulled slammed to the ground
