I wanted to brag a little here about my Presidents hammering yet another Al Qaeda hopeful, the claimed number 2 guy this time. (June, 2011 in a drone attack) So a quick Google turned up no fewer than 5 killing's of Al Qaeda's number 2 man in the last 2 years. Then I had to ask, what's different about the last 2 years that's allowed the US to kick Al Qaeda @$$?

I think I know the answer to that, but there's a time to brag and a time to pat those who serve on the back. Whether you're washing pots in the kitchen, or putting one between bin laden's running lights, you're heroes to me. Kick @$$ and take names guys and gals, and when you get a moment, check and make sure you're registered to vote.

Anyway, politics aside. It appears that working your way up the Al Qaeda ladder is more hazardous than first thought.

And I'll go ahead and tie that in to Anerican politics: when asked about his lack of foreign policy experience, Herman Cain replied, "Does the President have any? [Catchphrase alert:] How's that workin for ya?"

It's working pretty okay, Mr. Cain. Thanks for asking.

I'll go with this.

Despite my marked dislike for our current C.I.C., I'm a fan of his continuing the pressure on the "bad guys" (and no, I don't give a damn if it's "political posturing", as long as the job gets done).

My hat's off to the people who make it happen.

On a side note, TWO top al-Qaeda operatives get waxed in Pakistan in the past month? Hmmm. 'Sup wit dat, Pakistan?

Yeah, but let's not forget the many others that were captured by Pakistan either.

Which is why Al-Qaeda has been conducting terrorism attacks in Pakistan for years, by the way - as revenge. The last body count was over 35,000 people dead due to these acts. :( This never reported on by Western media, of course.
