Ah yes, a friend of mine has a 95 s14 and wanted to enter a car show. He doesn't have his new wheels yet, just his stock 5 spoke 16s...so (I don't know how I let him do this but) he talked me into switching wheels with him for the show. No offense to you guys with those wheels, but damn, they looked fugly on my car...I was embarassed to drive it (They do look good on S14s though!)

Finally, today, I got to put my wheels back on. It looks nice again.

I thought I'd tell just in case any of you 240 guys want to put some maxima/i30/i35 17s on your cars. The wheels do fit without any problems (and can probably be found for cheap on eBay).

On another note, my friend got 2nd in the show (put on by SOA) in the Nissan class. It's got me tempted to start entering shows, seeing as there don't seem to be too many nissan/infiniti's and my friend didn't even have that much done to his car.

Oh, and I forgot...I got to see a new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution for the first time in person. It was damned impressive, but the salesman there wasn't exactly the brightest guy on the planet.

He started talking about the kind of maintenance nightmare it was compared to my friend's dad's SL500 (and I thought he was supposed to be selling the car?!)

Oh well, it was nice nonetheless. Enkei wheels, brembo brakes, recaro (or maybe corbeau) seats, FMIC, OEM hid projector headlights...yum.

Hehe...no way in hell I let anyone get pics of my car with the wheels LOL...but my friend took plenty of his 240 with my wheels. I'll get them from him this week.

My overall wheel+tire diameter was so large that he had to jack his car up higher to put the wheels on (than he had it when taking his wheels off).

im waitin on pics to my friend, and yea i know about dumb salesmen, i went and looked at a 93 240se 5spd, and al the damn salesmen could say was how nice my o2 altima was, 'ive always been an accord/camry man, but nissan is making a damn nice car, any complaints on it??' like i was selling him a damn altima!!
