So I've been neglecting the car... I havent done anything to her except wash and wax, and I felt bad.

....so, I got her some Borbet XL 18s, wrapped with 225/45ZR18 General Exclaim UHP, courtesy of tirerack.com

I will get everything put on tomorrow morning at the dealer.

....and then I also magically had these appear...

.... I wonder what THOSE could be for....

More photos to come after the wheels are on, and this mysterious box of cable adapters gets sorted out

Nice looking wheels dude. As for the cables, I would say by judging from the diagram under them that it will have something to do with your radio .

Post pics when you get her done ASAP.

I'm actually having the dealership move my TPMS from my stocks, to the new ones...

Total install is costing ~$135 cause of it.

Tirerack wanted $180~ for new TPMS, so this seemed like a cheaper route.

Ok... here come the pics!

...First, the wheels (warning: I didnt wash the car : )

..and now some pics from the head unit install:

Everything removed:

Bluetooth mic on visor, cables routed down pillar:

I drilled a hole into the cubby so I could run an aux. cable:

Then I ran the ipod cable into the glove compartment so I can lock it up:

...Finished product:

The unit is a Pioneer FH-P8000BT. The screen stinks, but it rocks ipods/iphones, and bluetooth (audio/voice). I decided in the end I didnt need video capabilities, and my iphone has a GPS turn by turn app. with voice guidance, so why pay an extra $200-300 for a nicer touch screen unit when I dont need it.

Amazon has it on sale for $250: http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-...11BZ2

...thanks for the inspiration everyone gave me by putting up their own photos and threads!

Nice - I have that same head unit in my other car - a Jetta Wolfsburg. Where did you get the wiring harnesses from? I need to pick some up myself.

The wheels came out looking real nice on the car. Love those on the Dark Slate. The radio came out nice and clean. Next thing I recommend is for you to paint the calipers. That would make the car look more slick.

I got the harnesses from Crutchfield, just because I was paranoid about getting the wrong ones, so I ended up paying $30 for them (shipped). I saw bestbuy sold the wiring harness for like $20, though.

I got the face plate from NissanParts2U.com

Is there a special kind of paint I should use?

Nice wheels, but not a fan of the head unit. Whatever makes you happy though!

For my audio install I removed the power outlet in the cubby space so I didn't have to drill the hole through the plastics.

Eibachs next!

nice wheels! Did you ask the delivery guy to install them too!??

I work for FedEx, I have had to deliver all kinds of stuff, and people really think that we install stuff! lol...morons, we are not Best Buy, we just deliver the damn stuff to your curb or into your garage or warehouse. I deal with the Heavy freight, but occasionally get TV's, frigs, stoves, etc to residential areas.

The best one was, I delivered about 100 new computers to a high rise bldg, and they thought me, the FedEx guy, was going to sit there, and set up and configure all their new PC'S!!! lol, like I am the Geek squad man!

...haha... I can say without doubt, your photos were instrumental in me getting these wheels.

Of all the great looking coupes on here, I always kept coming back to yours, with the borbet's.

That's incredible. I was just imagining that being a FedEx guy, you occasionally see some pretty cool stuff being delivered. I had one guy ask me about a small form factor PC I had ordered, and we started talking about competitive gaming and all kinds of stuff.

We have great delivery guys here, though.

I'm really digging the deck!I'm very tempted to get it. Only thing that is holding me back is the fact that it is blue. =(

Yeah -- I'm not happy about the lack of color change ability either.

It's not my dream deck, that's for sure, but I really feel that there wasnt a better one out there for the cost and for what I wanted it to do.

So far, I love how it handles being hooked up to the ipod. It's fast and easy to browse, and shuffling all songs is a breeze (there's a button on the face that re-shuffles).

It starts playing from the ipod within a few seconds of turning on the car, and it remembers the last song's place.

It also finds my iphone via bluetooth very quickly.

Overall, I'd recommend it.

Ahh... nice... I think I'd prefer the brush vs. spray painting. I wont have to cover everything with paper that way.

I went to CarToys today to check out different decks. JUST TO PLAY WITH THEM. That place is too damn expensive. And they had that particular deck there. I liked it.I'll probably end up getting the same deck pretty sun. I just want a decent deck with BlueTooth.

Also, what are those two adapters for? I figure one is to connect it to the car but what is the other for? Steering wheel control?

The wide one with the white connector is for most of the power/speaker connections.

The smaller gray one is for the antenna.

Are you considering any other head units?
