Hey everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted on here. I've been incredibly bored this summer because i've essentially been waiting for employers to contact me about jobs i applied for. I just graduated phi beta kappa with a B.A. in English and minor in spanish from the university of north carolina-chapel hill, and I've been thinking about possibly getting into writing web-content--i hear it's the growing domain of the writing world--so i figured this website would be a good portfolio of my web content writing and photography ability...I still want to go over the whole thing once more for final editorial touches, but it's pretty good the way it is. It sort of reads like a story, from "original 240sx" to "turbo parts 1-4," to "final results"...and of course there's plenty of exterior pictures, a full mod list, links, embedded youtube videos, etc...

Enjoy!

FEEDBACK APPRECIATED!

That dyno sheet is sweet man, very nice.

Pretty cool webpage too, well designed.

BTW, the stock Ka's rods arnt forged, for whatever reason thats a common misconception. They are cast, and shot-peened. I mean, look at them, casting marks on a forged rod?

Still, your 300ish hp rod failure is pretty uncommon. Another guy made 500 hp+ at 30 psi and bent the rods, twice, at that boost level.

Still running good?

BTW, Zeitronix FTMFW.

Looks good bro. Things I noticed...

Turbo Part 4 button should be relocated next to Part 3 button in place of the links button. Basically just swap them. Move the Final Results button up inline with the bottom row of buttons. If you want it to be different or to stand out make it flash or simply change the font style/color.

Just idea's man

It's good to see one of the OG Kat guys man...I did the hacked maf myself for a little while, but I did Orion's version.

I have always loved the pics of your car with the New England scenery as a background. Hopefully I'm back that way in 3 years on a permanent basis. Best of luck with the job hunting

Ahh, trust me, those tabs have been DRIVING ME CRAZY!!! I tried everything I could to put turbo-part 4 right after turbo-part 3, and then final results right after, but the site has NOT allowed me to. Every time I added a new page, the website prompt asked "do you want to include this page in the menu?"...and the default setting was YES...so when I created the final results page, I'm almost certain I didn't click "no, i don't want to have this page in the menu)....perhaps the free webshell only allows 10 tabs (final results was the 11th).

The site was originally only going to have turbo part 1 and 2, but i needed parts 3, 4, and final results to finish the story.

But again, that has been the main thing i've been pissed off about with the site...I think i might contact like a technician or whatever, bc it really does take away from the overall presentation...

About the pics--thanks, I love it up here in the fall, but i essentially live in the middle of nowhere--lots of farms though!

Meh, nothing wrong with that bro. That's why I love Mass, I can live WAY out there and still only be like 45 mins from Boston. I'm looking at the western area at the moment. My wife will stationed at Hanscom for 4-5 years depending then she'll retire. So we're looking for our last and final house...I'm so tired of moving. BUT we still have 3 years left here...THIS place sucks. Wichita Falls TX FTL

Hanscom FTW! Surrounding area FTL....

Although like you said, a little bit more west is nice. Leominster, Fitchburg, and Worcester are pretty small, 'back woods' towns. And still pretty close to Boston, and big highways for travel.

And LOL to this pic on your site...

I have something similar.. haha I did the same thing.

But I feel like I've read this before... Not sure. I think I've read EVERYTHING available on the internet about KA-T's.... hahNice site. I like it. Has some good information on it.

None of the tab links work for me?

The only thing good about Wichita falls is the "Mountains"

They are the only hills around for 500 miles

Weird, for those of you who CAN'T access the tabs/links, what type of browser are you using? It works for me and everyone I know except one of my friends, and he has Mozilla (which I hate). The site worked fine for me on both Opera and Internet Explorer.

That's pretty annoying though, there is sooooooooooo much information on the other pages.

Well, here are the links to the other pages:

For those of you who couldn't get the links to work on the webpage: do these links work for you now?!

Cool web page!

What type of Zenki grille did you have on it before your Kouki swap? I like it and want to know where to get one. Thanks.

If you're talking about the one that says "turbo" on the grill opening, that was a silly custom project. My old turbo Volvo got its grill busted up, and so I took the "turbo" badge from the volve grill and drilled 2 small holes in the zenki bumper (the badge had 2 skinny, flexible legs), then pressed the badge into the hole and glued it there. it worked fine but i took it off after a while b/c i thought it looked tacky.

if you're just talking about the grill before my modification, I think it's just a JDM grill, or, come to think of it, it might just be a stock USDM OEM grill from a 1996 (without that stupid bar down the middle). honestly, it's been like 5 years so i don't remember....sorry

those tabs/links are driving me nuts! they work on my home page and every other page, this sucks...and Krazy driver--funny you used the word 'saga'; I just changed the title of my page to the "six year saga"

and i updated the part about me being the only one running an oil cooler...

At the bottom of the "Part 1, 2 etc" pages, add a link to the proceding section. Then viewers won't have to scroll up to go the next "part".

Overall nice site and an interesting read.

Although, I did find your old Zenki front end more attractive!
