Had a similar thing happen to me and a buddy while we were in his 3000gt .

Not sure of the ethnicity of the harrasser but he shut up when he found out that Me and my bud had both been in Japan for extended periods (and they don't mind the white guys into cars at all there) and he'd never left the US.

Those kinds asian guys make the rest of us look bad. True enthusists shouldn't even care about what ethnicity other people are, the only thing they should care about is cars and modding it to go faster, turn harder, break faster ect ect ect.

[semi off topic]Shouldn't have to worry about those guys much. Hell, I hang out with integra guys and drive my 240 up to their meets. They don't mind because their cool like that. You just have to find the right crowd and everything will be fine.

See...I gotta jump in on this one. I've dated people from all different nationalities, but I myself am black. Some people try to tout how great their nationality is. I think it's great to do so, but realize this...if things were so GREAT where someone comes from...why are they here and not there?

I get hassled about driving an import by a guy here with a 5.7L Camaro. Think about it...that engine is almost 3 times bigger than my SR!! But I'd walk him like a dog because of the weight difference. I bring up the fact that the Camaro is actually made in Canada, so his argument about driving a domestic is quite stupid indeed.

My conclusion is this: It's all good. Date who you want, drive what you want. If you like something then who cares where its from? But do the most with what you have. Horsepower is just like curves on a woman...you want the most of both with the least amount of weight in either case.

LOL, by the way, PantherRacer, don't flatter yourself by believing that all gay men would want you. I'm pretty sure homophobia is a turn-off for them. And if you think you're the first one who has "taught a gay guy a lesson," then think again: those folks get sh1t everywhere they go. Also, I don't wanna lump you in with any groups already discussed here, but "it ain't natural" is about as good an excuse as "it's an ASIAN thing" for hating on someone or what they do. Honestly, I have more respect for people who get all "it's God's law" and "love the sinner, hate the sin" and crap about their anti-homosexual opinions because at least there they've established a foundation for believing what they do. "It ain't natural" is just a weak excuse for hating people who are different or make you uncomfortable. As a friend of quite a few gays and lesbians, I'm tired of people throwing that BS around.
