My daughters 66 fired up today.

Today we finished torquing the head, put in thermostat, thermostat housing, water pump, oil filter, plugs, radiator went back in (and it's hoses and crap), valve train & cover, manifolds, carbs, linkage. We rebuilt the water pump (new diaphragm etc..). My daughter did a lot of the work, she was also cutting the gaskets we needed and didn't have (4 of em). After about 4-5 hours it was fire up time.

Photobutcket video of 3rd firing (on starter fluid).

Later on after we rebuilt the fuel pump it was able to run. A very good day, a very happy kid.

The best part was my neighbor coming over after we had it running with an ODB-II code scanner in case it can help to tune up the car.....
