Well ... it's official the CA runs like a champ :)

In fact, the engine thats been sitting around for god knows how long runs better than the other 6 Nissans we all collectively own.

Ants13, I'm in no way making fun of you, but I wanna move to the UK so that I can say 'bloody' whenever I want and not have people think I'm weird! I loved that about the UK, the way that you talk. American-English just seems bland in comparison!

Damnit! I'm the one that did the swap! :) Though, it started up thanks to Anthony (Ants13). Thanks for everything mate. Hopefully next time your in Austin, I'll have my Rb26 240z running!

Hehe, it took someone flying overseas to realize I had the MAF and CAS connectors switched around! I glanced at the schematics without realizing both connectors have the same 4 color wires, just in different order. Oh well, it runs awesome! I think I need to torque some misc driveshaft/diff. bolts again though, since something sounds a little loose. All I have to say is damn I love this CA! It is one sweet little motor. I still can't believe the wiring was as easy as it is.

Yeah, it will definitely be running by then. Though, looks like it will have to be an rb25 because it's pretty hard to find decent 26's right now. Either way, it WILL have an RB and WILL be running the next time you are here. Also, hopefully I will have a decent turbo setup on my Maxima by that time as well. Well, off to check the CA timing!

This just in...

The engine has been having some real running problems. Seems like someone forgot to check for leaking pipes, of which I found the cold pipe completely loose... which explains no boost and the overall crappy running situation.

BUT, closer inspection found other lose pipes of which was the turbo intake pipe. I removed it and saw alot of liquid and fresh oil by the turbo inlet. Stuck my finger down there and out came fresh oil. This ... is not good. Check the shaft play ... and boy does that thing move.

Diagnosis: Blown turbo (as usual), loose intake piping...

Need I remind you who found the car, who told you how the swap goes, hell I even told you what it needed to run, who started the wiring (which you wouldn't let me do any of), who asked his friend in the UK to bring parts and help with the swap, who called Paul for help at 9 pm, etc.

Funny how we forget these things...

Guess I'll just "do absolutely nothing" on the next swap as well... don't worry to ask questions either or bother to ask me to help.

Your a friend and all but, you are really arrogant sometimes man. The same day my brother bought that s13, I already searched and found all the wiring diagrams and instructions for everything including the gauge cluster. I do appreciate the help you have given me, especially Anthony, but you act like you've done it all. And I can do my Rb swap myself, thank you very much. I know exactly what's involved with that, so I don't need anyone's help. You say you aren't arrogant and don't know everything but you act like you are on a level above everyone sometimes.

When have I ever said I wasn't arrogant... hell I'm the first to admit that.

I'll talk to you later about this... cause right now I feel like saying a bunch of **** and I know I'm gonna want to take it back.
