It's a VERSA Invasion!!

Greetings to all my friends on the VERSA board! Here is a fun question: Do you notice other VERSAs in your neighborhood and at your workplace?? I bought a silver VERSA about 2 months ago---I notice there is a white one at the building I work out, there is a dark gray one at the complex where I live, and I have seen a red one and a blue one while driving around in town. I live in Ronkonkoma NY. Do you see a lot of VERSAs in your towns? Please advise!!! [

Well, besides the three in our family and the one at work a friend bought because she knew how much I like mine, a neighbor also has one and I see several on my daily commute. Quite a change from 3-1/2 years ago when I bought my first one!

A couple of years ago they were rare enough that as you drove by one you could give a wave or a thumbs up greeting. Now they are main stream enough that people don't respond or catch on that you are acknowledging you have the same car.

Not as tight a group of owners any more.

There is a fairly large amount of Versas around here, but so far mine is the only manual one I have seen. Also, I have yet to see another around here with aftermarket and/or other Nissan wheels.

I work at one of the assembly plants, so I see about 30 - 40 every day. There are about 4 of us that modify them though. Outside of work, we have a lot too, but again no one really changes parts like the four nuts mentioned.

once i went to Toyota car show, and some kid asked me if I was going to enter my car into the show... i told him no, and he told me, "That's too bad, you have a nice Yaris" hahaha, when ever i take my car to the stealership the techs and salesmen come and look at my car... i see lots of Versa's on the roads, but i am mostly in the Murano when i see them...

my friends from Micro Image always try to get me to enter my Versa into all Toyota shows, i think we will try it this year... all i have to do is throw a Yaris badge and a Toyota emblem, lol.... i think we will try it this year... this will be interesting to see

But you should enter a show for fun I might do it later this year for fun myself

i have a Yaris badge... we are going to tell them its a JDM body kit... lol... that would be the funniest if i take first in the Yaris category...

oh you know it, have you seen the supercharged yaris down in HI? Of course if i do this i will have to take my Versaspeed.com vinyl off of the back window...

I notice them and still wave hi at the drivers. Was on the way to work the other day and there were three of us in V's in a row. They are all over the place here. I work at Dodger Stadium during the season and see a ton of them. Also seeing a lot more Fords all of a sudden (last season). Interesting.
