I changed my avitar. I had a picture of my truck, but it was deceptive because people thought they were looking at a recent picture when it was really from fall of 2008. Now it is something more eccentric. I lifted the image from the label of Bell's Eccentric Ale (the same Bell's that makes Oberon). I have always like that drawing since I first saw it years ago, so there it is. If Larry Bell owns a Nissan and sees this, PM me before you sue.

Actually, BBcode DOES support hex color references (which are definitely NOT exclusive to HTML). You just need to add a pound sign at the beginning:
