Car: shopping for parts going to school to become a massage therapist

Post

I was out wit my buddy one night and well, two guys out driving around at 1 in the morning is not a good...espeacialy when the one kid(my buddy) steals the keys to his mom's 2003 merceds Benz C230. Everything started out aright, blasting down back roads seeing what the C230 could do. Well then we pulled up into a semi empty parking lot. Actually a Wal-mart plaza. For god knows what reason he decieds to open her up and whip it all over the parking lot. It's fun at first until we hit sewar drain and popped the tire well the tire and the rim just detached thier selves from each other. LOL oh man was his face priceless. The best part about it was, my boy has no idea as to how to change a tire. So I had to change the tire and we drove over to the gas station and put air in the tire and everythingn was as good as new. It was halirous! Moral to this story steeling is bad!

Thanks for the story, and never try to air up a tire that has been dislodged form the bead seat in such an abrupt manner. Better to take it to a tire shop and let them risk their lives airing up the tire that might-or-might-not have serious sidewall damage.:)

Yeah I know that, but his mom need the car at 4 in the morning. It was clutch time! It's rather we die from the tire or his mom kills us. In believe me when i say she would kill us!

You're both lucky to have got off so easily - taking someone elses car withour permission and beating it is asking for a karmic pimp slap . FWIW , I have a C230K sedan and think it's a great road car , but it handles like a pig on rollerskates .

you guys made sure to use the smaller lug bolts in the trunk, right?

i had to tow a new c class back to benz one time because the owner didnt use the smaller lugs in the trunk. when you use the larger bolts on the alloy wheel, the bolt screws in too far and the smooth [unthreaded] part of the shank binds in the hub and you cant get the wheel off.
