Well, after 2 1/2 weeks of working hard, I got the RB20 to run! :ylsuper

I have to thank Wulfgang for the great writeup, and everyone else on here for being around and answering little and big questions.

Unfortunately I have to head home to NY w/o the car for the month of July (leaving tomorrow morning), so I'll be disconnected from it, all w/o even getting a testdrive! How annoying.

Anywhere, here's a few pics and a video (large file sorry!)

Relocated IAC valve

Custom Intake manifold

Engine bay shot

Intake manifold material (found on side of the road!)

My ECU with EPROM Emulator plugged in

Live Edit Nissan ROM editing software

T3/TO4E 57 trim with Tial 38mm

S15 front in progress

Gratuitous close-up of the JDM'ness..heh

Video of startup...it was running super-rich from the Walbro and no O2 sensor, and it is also running open downpipe in the video because I didn't get a chance to fab up the rest of the exhaust yet..enjoy!

25 mb file! Right-click and save as ;)http://www.streetneeds.com/upl...8.MPG

Yeah I know the feeling. It'll be like waiting for Christmas as a child, just so excited to get back here and actually drive it!

*jealous*... looking very good!I really like the eprom emulator idea alot, its only real downfall is the lack of ability to datalog. Otherwise its like a basic standalone :)

Well start work again on it when you come back and keep us updated!

since your goin to need a wideband sensor you should get the LM1 http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/lm1.php i think it does dataloggin too!

EDIT: really cheap datalogging unit http://www.dataq.com/products/startkit/di194rs.htm

Hey, Thanks for the compliments.

I actually already purchased my Techedge 2.0 wideband with sensor for $197 shipped, just have to assemble it myself over break here in NY (upstate 1.5 hours north of Syracuse). I had the 1.5 last year in my probe and it was good, and it does all the datalogging.

The emulator doesn't do map tracing, but they are working on that function. I wish I was back working on it, being away a month is really lame!

The fenders are fiberglass, they were some of the first 10 out of VIS's mold and were from othe first S14.5 in Canada. Once I get back in August I'll be right back into getting it tuned and put back together, but all in all, my goal was to get it in and running before I had to fly home, and I got that done!

The welding on the intake was TIG, I have two buddies that each have a TIG, and I have a gasless mig I did the downpipe with and other misc. stuff. And as far as a site, I don't have one yet, I'm just using space on my previous cardomain site I had for my 12 second Probe.

Thanks again for the kind words, it makes it worthwhile!

As far as the picture, sorry, it's on my other pc back home..so you'll have to wait a few weeks.

The flange, probably $10-15 plus ship?
