Well after long deliberation (6 months) my ca finally runs. I had a problem with a cut harness when i got my motorset, so I started looking for another option to get my motor to run(as you all know finding a Ca harness is hard as ****). After a few months of not being able to find a harness. I then started talking to someone on the board named MegasquirtCA\PumaKing, he then introduced the world of Megasquirt to me, and showed me exactly what i needed to do to get everythign working\running properly. I paid for him to build my harness and ecu and get all of that situated. He shipped it out and I got it yesterday. Everything was built very good, and looked nice. I then just had to plug everything up, and turn the key! It started right up, after giving it some gas. All I need to do now is hook up my intercooler, map sensor, bov, and get tuned. Anyways props to MegasquirtCA\Pumaking for his good work, and all of his help in getting this mother to run.

Also:I did a compression test on the motor whithout it beign warmed up(didnt know if it would matter or not), I also left all the spark plugs in except for the cylinder i was testing, i didnt know if that would make a difference either...but it yielded these results:cyl 1-165cyl 2-160cyl 3-162cyl 4-151

1st- as tyrannix said, are you using the stock CAS?

2nd-The compression test should be done with the car at NOT, and all of the plugs pulled. The fact that you got those numbers with the motor cold tells me that the motor is in VERY good shape. Congrats!

That doesn't look like a very solid bracket. Does your timing stay solid? It looks like it would be prone to movement from vibration.

I guess if the car runs well, that's all that matters!

the bracket im using now is similar to that but a bit different. It doesnt seem to be shaking or moving anywhere and feels extremly firm. Im using the 36-1 wheeled tooth with the ford edis-4 system. No more Ca cas for me.
