Well I had found a new turbo (the seals went bad on the other one I had) And now I have pretty much the same turbo but this one is BB. Its a Ball Bearing Turbonetics 50trim. Now I know its not a good idea to run with a different turbo and not have any other supporting mods which is why I am asking before I drive it again.

So pretty much the same problem is back, the car has very little power. I drove it around the block the other day and I didnt try to hit boost at all really just checking for any oil burning and such. However my question is with a different turbo do I need to change the MAF for a Z32 one? I will only be running 9 or so lbs of boost. I plan on getting a SAFC soon, just for something to use for the next couple months.

Then my final question is when I get a Nismo FPR what do I need to get to check my fuel pressure. Do I need to get a gauge for in the car, or is there some sort of tester I can get it? Or will the FPR come pre-set to the pressure I need at?

Sorry for the long post. Any help is appreciated.

For a FPR you obviously need a gauge since you are getting the Nismo one and does not come with one (at least mine didnt) but still dont think it comes with one. I dont know if your on the 240sxforums.com boards but I think you might be, theres a section in the RB where its all about Nismo FPR. It will tell you pretty much everything you need to know.

Yes I am, thanks for the link. Just ordered the FPR and will be picking up a gauge today along with some new spark plugs. Off hand does anyone know what they should be gapped at? I cant remember now.

1.1mm is spec, but run as large of a gap till you start blowing out spark.

Looks like I did gap them all at about .8mm when I orginially put them in.

Well I was checking wires and whatnot for my MAF tonight and noticed it was only getting 11.15volts on the 12v power wire. (with just the battery on, car NOT running) I didnt check with the car running yet but I assume this 1 volt difference on the MAF isnt helping things. Or does 1 volt matter on the power wire? I traced the wire back to pin 49 i think it was C/U power and it was seeing 11.15 also.

Well I ordered a SAFC 2, Nismo FPR, fuel pressure gauge from jegs.com, and a Powerdex Wideband. So hopefully by the end of the week the car will be in much better shape
