Yes, you are right....rain = wet roads = i get to mess around drifting in my 93 s13. It is hella fun but i only got to do it on 4-5 corners :*(. But the best part is that it was my first time trying. The car picks up and goes straight soo well with just a small crank of the wheel. I love it. Now imma have to drop about 15k and do mod here and there...so i can do it in style.

All i got to say is Rain = drifting = WIN.

or you could spend $300 for an lsd and have the same amount of fun when it's dry out side...

dry = real drifting = win

Well yes it also rained here in Cali, and you know what that meant for me??? Me at a sidewalk, yes people, me at a sidewalk

i bent a steele rim and **** up the front right suspension, the wheel right now instead of "|" a vertical position, it stands "/" like that, i was near my home, so i said **** it and drove home like that.

i was not going very fast at most 10 mph, the thing is the car went straight to the curb, i didn't loose the back end, i didn't spin the tires, the car just went straight, i will have to take pictures so you guys can tell me what to change, but right now the only really bent part is the part that connects the rack and pinion to the wheels.

the ****ty stuff is i WAS drifting in the rain, like 5 mins before and i was ok but i slow down to take a turn, because i just wanted to go home. and BUM!!!

BTW the tires are NITTO 460 or something like that...

But swift drift, my car is pretty much stock other than the AEM intake, and Hayame exhaust....There is also a Venom 400 that came w/the car, i installed it..used it for a bit but it's a cheap POS. So i dun use it anymore.

But as far as Mods go.....I am not going to mod anything Engine wise until i get a CA18DET, but does my KA have enought power to drift when it's dry? But i don't want any cheap parts in my car...if imma buy somethign i like to go w/the best....hence that's why i bought a 240sx :)

If you can drift in a stock AE86 then you sure can drift in a KA. You don't need to be doing 110 mph. LSD will really help no matter what you get.

lsd can drift in dry road? i thought an lsd is for better ground control, so doesn't that make it harder to drift?

you people are so new, stop reading import tuner and start reading these forums.

poop_masta, you need 0 mods to drift, i repeat ZERO! lsd replaces the stock open differential, sell all your engine "mods" and buy an lsd.

midnite bruddah, gee i wonder why you can drift a stock trueno...oh yeah its got an lsd...power doesnt make the drift, the driver makes the drift

just another 240...yap ur name goes good with your knowledge...read up then delete your post.

I know it has a LSD. I was saying if you can drift in a stock AE86 and it has less power than a KA you can do it.

as ive said so for the 92879872th time, power doesn't mean anything in drifting, yeah it helps and can make some cool drifts, but when it comes to starting out and learning to drift, less power is better and easier to control for newbs
