Drove it home today from the shop! Thanks for the chip Jon! The 450 one works good. Nice smooth idle to it and smooth driving.

Only a few more dramas to work out with it....

Recheck the coolant line that was leaking on the back of the motor, it wasn't leaking on the way home, so I may have got it....

Why isn't my cluster working after the dash swap.....

Why does my EGT go from 850 to PEGGED in like 1 second flat, I think it might be a wiring issue along with the cluster....

Only took it to 4 pounds, I was babying it on the way back to the house since I didn't know the RPM or temp I was at on the way home, but it seemed like it didn't want to boost much higher, just not as responsive as the old turbo. I am chalking that one up to the larger backside of the T28, I am used to the .49 A/R and instant spool.

So... all in all, its great to see my car parked in my driveway again. I will report back in 500 miles when the clutch is broke in properly!

Thanks to everyone who lent an hand or advice.

Joe

good to hear man, lets get the thing running strong then get her on the Dyno!!!

the EGT probe wires are really susepetable to interferance, also you could have it wired wrong i believe i did it too. i know mine used to go from 850 and slowly up to 1200 then upto 1425 or so under cruising, somthins wrong in the wiring i hope!

we will get all that stuff worked out soon.

this is a benchmark, joe is the first CA running a homemade chip.the only other chiped ECUs programed in the states have been dee's JWT ECUs, and i hope that they dont end up like his did. we will be doing further research and development with joe so we can get a Chip out there to have you guys safely running mild setups with around 15-18psi of boost.
