Yes....it's finally running and its strong so far. The motor is running very cool. I drove it all day yesterday with 90+ degree weather and the intercooler stayed very cool! Flames are thrown and scare people on the road :D

Anyways i would like to thank those who have helped me with advice and tips on this project. You guys were a great help. I'm sure I'll be asking plenty of more questions in the near future. But thanks again to those who lent me a hand.

-Seth

2 Friggin' wires left! I goofed up and switched out the KA transmission/starter harness for the SR one when I should have kept the KA one. I was otherwise totally done, only to find that the plugs below the fuse box do not match up. Sat. should be the day! Sorry to kinda jack your thread, but you just got me all excited.

it is I'm waiting on having the hangers welded on. I'm just super worried about the FMIC falling from some freakish incident. It has 2 catch hangers on the bottom but I want them welded. I had to custom fit this Blitz core.

Everything will be done soon.

yeah, i have mine at the same angle you do too. I did it to keep part of the bumper support, but why did you custom fit yours?

pretty much :) I will admit that there is a considerable amount of lag but when it goes...it goes! The reason for the huge FMIC is because of my future plan for a bigger snail ;) All of the supporting mods are there.

Actually it looks to me like its the standard core size that the Blitz kits come with. Mine's about that big and I could have fit it the way they intended had I removed the bumper suport like they intended.

Don't let the picture fool you. The core is twice as thick. This is the Blitz RM IC and the regular kits for our cars are the Blitz LM's. The RM's end tanks are an inch bigger than the LM (RM = 3inch end tank diameter). If you look closely at the picture and look at the couplin connecting the charge pipe to the IC and the one connecting on the cold pipe, you'll see that the couplin is a reducer ;) Over all size is much bigger and to give you an idea on the thickness of the IC, I had to cut at the front of the frame where it comes out straight forward.

Lots of freaking cutting to make this thing fit.....sigh

Do you think your girlfriend could come to my place and take pics on my car?...................:yummy :naughty.....:D .......:rolleyes .......I guess I could ask my girlfriend. Thats no fun. So you say you have big plans for future upgrades? What kind of upgrades will require that size i.c. besides a 900 hp beast?:D

Thanks for the compliments guys, I've worked very hard on her for the 7 months :)

droptopsilvia...yes i did run into problems with the wiring but I gave up on it and let Project Silvia relieve me of the stress.

MojoMan....Sorry pal but my girlfriend only models for me. You should see the other pix, the real good ones :D Oh and as far as a turbo upgrade, well I'm looking for something that will give me figures close to 500 hp but no more. I am building this car as a Super Production road course car. I want to teach every one out there that you don't have to have more than 6 cylinders to dominate ;) Even with close to 500 hp as a goal the FMIC is a little on the over kill side but on a hot road course it'll help tremendously with dissipitating the heat!

damn my girl would NEVER go for that. "Hey wanna model in skimpy clothes on the hood of my car so I can post it on a car message board and impress everyone?" I've never asked, but I would fear a flying palm to the face.
