Well got the car running tonight finally, 8 months later. God I was so nervous that I tried to back out of it, but my friends forced me to crank it and she fired up on the first try! No leakage that we could see so far and everything seemed to run well. It did idle high, around 1500 RPM. So I'm not sure what thats about. you guys have any ideas? My downpipe would not mate up so I had to do it with an open turbo pipe. Damn I could not believe it actually ran, never thought I would see this day. I owe so much to this forum for the help it provided, seriously you guys dont even know. So thanks. me so happy right now! Now I just got to make it through the break in.

haha, I wasn't giddy at all...just had a sick feeling in my stomach, like when you were a little kid and going on a big rollercoaster for the first time, and then you cry afterwards. That was me last night. Thanks for the compliments!!! I'm about to go take her for a spin. Pray for me.

Also, when timing the RB, the stock timing is 15*. So this means I mark the third notch BTDC on the crank pulley? It's 5* for each one, I think I read that somewhere.

god dude talk about sick feelings in your stomach, try having a buddy (who has never built a subaru motor before) build your motor, then shoving 30 pounds on it with a 35r on the dyno. God i had to leave the dyno room because i was so nervous.

Sick car man, bay looks clean.
