UPDATE 23/10/2013 CHECK PAGE 2

Hello guys!

I think it's time you guys meet my AC (Lambo)! I live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

I bought my AC in 2010 (0 km 3.5 2008 model from Nissan Dealership)

Image

Image

The first thing I did was the tint (30%)

Image

Unfortunately I moved to another city, and car modifications were not permissible there.. So I had to keep everything within the legal limits.

Image
While installing LED kit all around the Chassis

Image

Image

Sound System
Image

Then I put CF Vinyls on the hood, roof and trunk (And got eyelids)

Image

then put black vinyl on the side mirrors

Image

The AC is not very popular here

Image

Interior LED kit installed

Image

Custom interior

Image

First Lenso wheel set (Road and Terrain)

Image

Debadged + tinted tailights

Image

Image

I hated the chrome mustache, so..

Image

Got another Lenso set

Image

 SAND STORM

Image

Tried to play a bit with the OEM Fascia

Image

Ebay LED Taillights

Image

Image

CMod grille

Image

CF Rood Spoiler + AltimaCoupe.com sticker I made

Image

Trunk Spoiler + New wheels (33 offset)

Image

Eibachs

Image

Fogs

Image

Sprint Booster :woot:

Image

Stillen Front Lip + Rear Corners

Image

The rear corners did not align correctly for some reason, I contacted Stillen but been told that the issue was being studied, still waiting... (it has been more than a month)
Image

Image

Finally I got Rota's IK-F

Image

WORK lock nuts

Image

this is how the car looks like now

Image

I guess that's all until it is allowed to modify the engine..

**Update: 30/01/13
Bought the AIT CF Trunk from Nico Member: incREDibL3

Image

Crashed into a couple of car meets (GT86), and stole the scene :chuckle:

Image

Got a pair of Ichiba Wheel spacers (Thanks to SanoSuKe), now running 17X8 +25 on all wheels

Image

Found a pair of D2 Coils in Dubai!! They've been used for less than a month, so I grabbed them and installed them on my car (again thank to SanoSuKe :mike )

Image

I scrapped on my way back home the same day I installed them

This is how the car is sitting at the moment

Image

Image
That's water from the AC under the car

**Update: 1/04/13

I removed all the Carbon Fiber Vinyl

And I got a new set of wheels!

Image

Yup! These are VOSSEN CV3 wheels! :naughty:

just replicas :tisk:

They're 18x9 +35, wrapped with Nitto 245/45 INVO (they have a really unusual tread pattern)

Image

First, I had 275/40/18 on the back, but as soon as I reversed out of the shop I heard the famous rubbing noise

I also got a Silvia S15 badge and stuck it on the grille, too bad I couldn't paint that blue (chrome). I will get rid of the Nismo badge soon

Enjoy the rest of the pictures! let me know what you think!

Image

Image
Very tight fitment! 2mm at least from the inner cover!

Image

Image

Image

Image

**Update: 30/01/13

New wheels, ROTA SVN White; 18x9 +30 Front, +20 Rear

Image

Image

Image

I still need to get Blue Tuner lug nuts.

I opened this thread hoping your car didn't get it's name because of a door mod. :)
How destructive are sand storms to the vinyl and paint on your car? I read the links to the laws in your region of Dubai. That's just wild, keeping and holding your car permanently due to exhaust noise/ engine mods. I know Dubai is loaded with high end cars but is there a big street racing scene? Is that the main reason for cracking down on mods?

lol, I was thinking about it, but then I thought that it would be a bit "too much"

The Vinyls are holding up really good, ya you get a few scratches here and there, but these can be fixed with a heat gun! :yesnod

The trunk was a @#@!!# to wrap! I actually did it twice and I'm doing it again soon, the corners keep coming out for some reason..

The rule is not implemented in Dubai (Dubai is the car heaven, you can do anything as long as you're not breaking the law), the rule is applied in Sharjah (another city) and Abu Dhabi (Capital).

and Yes, street racing is very common, in fact, take a look @ this :chuckle:

My friends called it lambo because I take really good care of it. I park as faraway as I can from other cars, and I always keep it covered in the garage :naughty:

And I thought pollen was bad! I wouldnt know what to do with this. Do you have to use a leaf blower or something to get it off so you dont scuff paint? Or does it just come off with driving?

Your vinyl wrap looks good! I am sure the trunk was hard to do. I wrapped my fenders, mirrors, and hood at one point but it gets too much dust and sometimes water spots don't come off. Looks good in the light though. Haha!

lol, ya this is very common, but I've never seen it on the roads.. Only in Arenas :naughty:

Thank you :)

Ya I prefer using a leaf blower, but since we don't have a fall season here, I don't own one!! :gapteeth:
So what I usually do is just drive around for a while :dblthumb:

Thanks! I have the same problem! There are many cats here, and for some reason they like sitting on my car, and I can't get rid of their footprints! But I think there is a way around it.. I found another type of vinyl, it's a 3D CF. I had it on the eyelids for a while, you can see them in this picture
Image
Notice that the vinyl on the hood is different! the 3D vinyl is shiny, so it is very unlikely to collect dust and water spots :yesnod

I actually think there is a clear layer that is supposed to be installed over the 3M carbon fiber vinyl to protect it. Not sure if it is expensive or worth it. It would be great to shoot a clear coat over it but not possible.

I wish I had started a build thread...I modified my car so much in only 1 year but have no pics to prove it :(

Except for my photoshoot :P

Nice car OP, I'll be honest and say I wasn't feeling it in the beginning but with that lip, your car stood out (in a good way) to me.

I think people here won't assume you're bullshitting them. You haven't quite built up that rep. Photoshoot or not, you're not all talk and leave people hanging. Not naming anyone specific. Just saying in general.

That's true, but it's sold separately, so you'll have to pay again for installing it as if it was a new vinyl cover. I have it on the roof spoiler, and I might put it on the lip.

I love to take a picture of each part I install, it's a habit!
For the lip, it was a make it or break it (literally) situation
The roads here are far from being lowered car friendly. I didn't like the front end either, and I was actually planning on getting the Stillen front Fascia, but then I thought that I have to sacrifice the fogs and the c-mod. So I ended up getting the lip, and luckily I can still go over speed bumps without hitting the lip!

I'm loving it, but don't expect any real performance increase, it just makes you feel that the car is faster (WOT).

Here's a thread I wrote about the Sprint Booster

Well yea thats where I was getting at. I know it doesn't free up horsepower, however, I WOULD like my car to accelerate much faster as my other (04) altima did. I just hate how friggin slow it accelerates.

Its hard to ask if its worth it being that you have a 3.5 and i a 2.5. But, would you say its worth it? Or is it one of those things you need if you have a ton of mods? I only have exhaust and intake.

I don't have any performance mods, only an after market air filter. The sprint booster is not like the BD or Uprev or anything else.
It basically gives you WOT all the time. I had this argument with many people, yes it doesn't give you more hp, but the car definitely feels faster. According to one of the people I know, he said that the car has a faster acceleration when the Sprint Booster is engaged and on RACE mode. I say it is worth the money! ;)

And thats exactly the answer I need. I think I might go with that then. They list it for under $300 on their site, so hopefully that stays that way until I come up with the dough for it.
