Finally after starting beginning of my RB25 project in October the engine started today. Couldnt run it too long due to some still still not hooked up but it did start. I am so happy I cant even explain it. However it may have revealed that the seal in the turbo is gone but it did start. I will have a little video up a bit later.

Great to hear Eric! Doesn't that first startup get your blood pumping? Seriously get us some videos even if they're short because start up videos never get old.

congrats on the successful swapwhy do you think your seal is gone? i thought mine was gone when i did my swap, but after driving for a bit the turbo stopped leaking. seals were just dry from sitting.

See thats what I was told to. But It seemed to be leaking too much oil. There about 1/2 quart that came out of the downpipe and then i went to rev it a little before I shut it off and it looked like a mixture of oil and coolent came out of the outlet of the turbo. So idk I would assume the turbo is done for but then again I am a newb to turbos ha.

Excellent! Wow, that's cool. I hope mine starts up like that. Then again... I have an impossible deadline for this project *cough*couple of weeks*cough* but I'm just silly like that. Either way, cool ****.
