but, tonight!! i think we have finally beat this motor into submission!!!! its still running super rich and it was right before it got to dark to tell it was spewing black smoke from the tail ! but the EGTs were normal n no signs of DET! we do have a strong smell of raw fuel somewhere no leak kinda like its venting ! the gas tank isnt underpressure so somthing there is still amiss!!!! we think the walbro has over thrown the stock regulator n is flowing way too much fuel then it really needs , or im buring exhaust gaskets an that the black smoke is from them ! i hope it is at least!! any how i replaced the TPS with one off my non running 240... that tps is bad car was missing and poping,hhmmm i think maybe that might be the problemn on my other car then !! ashame i took it all apart already! ok then we changed the AAC valve with the one from the non running 240... idle is fixed and adjustable WHOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!! put in the turbo timer !!! also BOV was leaking badly and causing poor running fixed that now its too tight and im still getting slight compressor surge ! have to take out one more quater to get it just right ! yah thats right we used quarters to adjust it since we ran out of washers! ! now the car runs better then ever it feels solid and its just F-ING great !! and its my birthday now !!! so today and tonight have turned out pretty damn good for once im also feeling better my flu is goin away and i can breath!!! but the car i think is still smoking !! time to find a cheap AFC tomorrow !

moral of the story!!! be patient recheck everything and allways test everything properly oh and have fun !! learn somthing!!!!
