it finally runs

after well over a year , my car finally moved under its own power this weekend. My dad and i spent about 4 days putting it and and getting it running. Now i have alot of small pain in the *** stuff to do , like putting the interior back together, hood , bumper ect. oh , and i also now have to get a new hot pipe and flange rewelded because the guy who welded my flange on decided not to put it where i had marked , and at the time i thought it was no big deal , but now i see that the BOV will defiantely not clear the hood. so its a new hotpipe or make it llok sloppy and by two more silicone connectors to cut and turn the BOV sideways.

oh an if you are wondering what turbocharger i finally got , it is a Forced performance big 28.

It looks real good. I don't know what the guy could have been thinking, I mean it is pretty plain to see that the hood wouldn't fit with the BOV coming out like that. That garage looks like a nice place to work, what kind of garage is that?

Congrats man, glad to see that thing finally almost done. You started the same time as me, and i have been driving mine for a few months now. Yours looks a hell of a lot nicer though! Now you can make it out to the next philly meeet!

yes i am still rowing , and that is why i was not at the philly meet:(temple rowing is hardcore. the shop is my dads. he was pretty happy to get it running beacuse my car has been taking up one of his spare bays for a loooonngg time. ride4lame have you takin your car to atco or anywhere yet?

I have taken my car to both atco and englishtown. It is not running up to bar. I am running an atmospheric blow off valve that is causing me to bog after shifts, and i am running rich. My best run is a 15.31 and i consistently get 15.3 Its not real impressive, but it is at stock boost...so once i get all that ish straightened out i hope to hit 14's easy.

ride4lame, are there any dyno places around you /me ? i need to get this SAFC tuned. supafly- i actually thought about that for a second, but that would mean i have to cut a hole in my nice hood

contact Matt at import Intelligence. He said something to me about setting up a dyno day for the philly club. I am positive he will know of the closest one. There is also a place my friend is getting some free time on soon, im me for details.
