I'm going to try the TPS idle position learning proceedure according to my manual- ignition on for 5 secs, off for 10secs; 20 times.Question is, if I just touch the throttle a little bit at the throttle body, the rpms will increase. There is an adjustment screw that can physically open the butterfly. Is there anything wrong with tweaking this screw minutely to raise my idle rpm's? Or will this throw everything off even further.

I doubt adjusting it will do any harm. Just do small adjustments to see what the result is.
