So recently I was driving my car around and something wierd happened. Let me start by listing my mods: I have an sr20 swap with simple stuff added like a FMIC, megan manifold, megan Dpipe, Blitz BOV vented to atmosphere, then 3in all the way back to a stock ish looking muffler (not a huge can but something less attractive to police), also the car is on SAFC1...So heres what happened.. I was driving around at about 60 % throttle, I shifted from 1st to 2nd no problem and then to 3rd.. but then I let off the gas while at about 5k in third and threw the car into neutral and braked...then the car died on me..I was freaked out....what could be causing this..please help this is my DD..ty BTW the same thing also happened when I was in a parking lot and I gave about 70% throttle in first then thew it in 2nd (but my foot was still on the clutch) and braked...it also died..help me out if you can and thank you ahead of time... Also to give more info..sometimes when I rev in neutral to like 6k the revs will drop way below idle like it is about to stall.....

what about setting the dec air settings in the SAFC...what should they be on??? my settings are THR. 1.0 Ne1 3.6 Ne2 4.8 any inputs? help me out...this is annoying.. just going from boost to neutral makes it do it...I have to save it for it to stay on.....

I cant tell you whats wrong but this is a prime example of why i build and dont buy. especially if you dont know much about turbo'd cars. im assuming you bought the car with an sr20 correct?

1st look for boost/vac leaks. Do a leak down test. The dec air settings on the safc are slightly different from car to car. You need to use the ownders manual and set it so that it's specific to your cars needs. If those don't fix it, try recirculating your BOV. I can almost promise you it's one of those things.
