So heres the story, i bought an s14 last week and it had a check engine light for a crankshaft position sensor. I check the sensor and it was loose in the bell housing and just floating there, the plastic broke between the bolt and the sensor itself so i bought a new one and installed it and now i have a loud ticking comming from the location of the sensor and i have no idea what could be causing the issue, i called the dealer to see if it was missing a gasket or o-ring but they said it doesnt have one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yup, I was gonna say it sounds like a gap issue, and to pull it out and check to see if it's all Fubar.
